The Venice Karate Club is a member club of the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF). Kei Fukuda, our head instructor has been training for over 40 years, has 7-dan ranking and certification for instructor, examiner, and judge from the ISKF. Kelvin Uyeda, our assistant instructor has 5-dan ranking. The club also has six 3-dan and two 2-dan members.

The club meets for training on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. The training times by belt color are below.

7:00 p.m. - 7:40 p.m.  White/Yellow
7:40 p.m. - 8:20 p.m.  Orange/Green/Purple
8:20 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Brown/Black 

​

All students are encouraged to participate in multiple practices and are welcome to stay for additional training which the instructors tailor to the needs of the students.

Membership is open to all and new members are welcome. Members must also become members of the Venice Japanese Community Center.
